A brief history

Yazid Alazwari, M.Eng. is the Head of New Technologies Assessment in the Saudi Food and Drug Authority. He has over 10 years in medical device regulation. Highly knowledgeable in global regulatory policies for medical devices, technical documentation assessment, and diverse knowledge of ISO & IEC standards and quality management systems.
Mr. Alazwari participated with many group work, domestically and internationally, Such GHWP, WHO and domestic standards and legislations. During his time in SFDA he has led different projects, the lates is Medical Devices Innovation pathway that include helping and guiding innovator of medical devices to create clinical evidence and conduct clinical that ensure a safe device and meet its intended purpose.
